Rachel Jones Ross is a Sony Brand Ambassador who will inspire you to head out for a midnight adventure to photograph the night sky. She features beautiful sweeping landscapes but at times adds another layer to them by featuring a person or two, which creates a deeper narrative, giving it a fairytale-esque feel to her work. The ice in this shot makes for a unique foreground element. Rachel made this shot with her Sony Alpha 7 III and Sony 12-24mm f/2.8 G Master. 

Jess Santos – @missjessbess

Jess Santos is another Sony Brand Ambassador who creates inspiring astroscapes. She composes her images of the night sky, usually including a perspective that includes the landscape in the foreground, leading the eye to a beautiful backdrop of the Milky way or an immense sky of stars. The colors of her images are bold, with prominent hues of blues, purples and pinks, yet they have warm undertones that add another layer of depth to them and help create truly magical images. She used the Sony Alpha 7R IV and the Sony 12-24mm f/2.8 G Master to create the composite below. 

Jasim Sarker – @Jaasiiim 

Jasim Sarker is a travel photographer and aurora tour guide. He takes photographers to locations such as the arctic highlands, Antarctica, and South America to have incredible photographic adventures. He shoots with the Sony Alpha 7 IV. Joaquín Marco – @jokinmarc

Landscape photographer and filmmaker Joaquín Marco is a master landscape photographer. Scrolling through his Instagram feed reveals countless breathtaking photographers, made with his Sony cameras and lenses. He describes his work by stating, “In my artistic pursuit, I go beyond the surface, aiming to recreate the profound emotions that the landscapes evoke in me.” We love this lighting in the image below, the eerie blue light cast from the moon and the stars. The composition of this shot is wonderful as well. The eye travels backward through the frame toward the mountain peak. 

Henry Tieu – @henrysdiary

Henry Tieu is a destination wedding and adventure elopement photographer and a Sony Brand Ambassador. His dreamy photography style makes you feel like you’re out in the mountains with the couple. We adore the image below, the contrasting tones of the warm light from the lantern and the blue light from the sky is visually appealing. Cody Conk – @codyconk

As a travel photographer based in Bay Area, California, Cody Conk has a pleasing balance of landscape, astro, cityscape, and even a little street photography throughout his feed. The image below is an excellent example of his talent for composition and eye for color in low light conditions. Emmet Sparling is a commercial photographer and videographer. He specializes in engaging storytelling and creating social media campaigns to help brands reach the largest audiences possible. He comes from a background in fashion photography which gives him great experience with portraits, lifestyle, and product shoots, as well as travel and adventure content. He shares this travel and adventure content on his Instagram account, often showing behind the scenes of how he makes these images. We love the scene below, in the caption Emmett explains that he originally thought it needed to be a composite but “the stars were bright enough, and the fire was dim enough for the scene to be captured in a single frame.”
